The Allure of Coloring is a way to experience The Allure of Matter: Material Art from China from the comfort of your living room.
This week’s coloring page features Chen Zhen’s Crystal Landscape of Inner Body (2000).
It depicts a set of translucent blown-glass objects that look like a cross between human organs and scientific beakers. It is good to remember, though, that glass can focus light like a prism, and in the clearest glass sometimes you can see all of the colors of the rainbow.
